One of our local SCCA guys has had what was reported to be an excellent slot car track (2-3 4X8 sheet area) in his home for years. Region members used to hold a winter racing series there. Last I heard was that he is moving and offered the whole thing, track, power supplies, etc. to anyone who would give it a good home. If anyone has the room and the inclination, I could contact him and see if it is still available.

I had one as a kid and it included a drag strip on the side. We would race, crash and burn everything. hehe

Unfortunately, when I re-built my basement(current one), I put in a theater and I couldn't contain any slot car tracks. But that would be totally cool to do. Hopefully they can find a good home for it. I saw those pictures and was trippin out at how cool they were. HILLCLIMBS yet! Hahahaha! Awesome.

Unfortunately, I got a phone call from another interested individual, so I called my friend. It has already found a new home. Sorry

That's cool. Just wanted it to go to a good home.
If you guys want to see a cool slot car track, Bill Sheilds built a replica of Duryea and has an old commercial track from back in the 60's. If any of you attended our former alternate Duryea party, you may have seen or run on that track. It was active again last weekend for his 60th birthday party. Yup, I said Bill's "60th".

Bill had the track at the PHA banquet in Morgantown, I forget what year that was.

Arnold's in Oaks has a cool indoor track. Been a while since I've been there. But it would be cool to go to any of the indoor places.

I know there's a place on Rt17 in NJ, Velocity17...

My buddy was just talking the other day about some place in the Pocono's where you can rent the place for private parties or such... I'll get the name.
Currently looking for a Legends or Dwarf car.

Wow, a chance for this johnny-come-lately to be wheel to wheel with the PHA racers! Here's some locales if anybody wants to do it.

Arnold's in Oaks, Pa: http://www.arnoldsfamilyfuncenter.com/gokarts.htmlb

The poconos place: http://www.ssspeedway.com/PAG_indoor.htm

some others that came up in a quick search,

So, anybody up for it?
