Banquet questions ...
1. I've never been to the banquet before. Does that mean I have to show
up Friday night for a novice registration or do I just need 3 stripes on my
dinner plate?
2. Since this is table-service and not a buffet, I assume there is no need
to learn how to go through the turn-around. If so, I assume that means
there is definitely no touring runs?
3. What are the run groups for dinner?
... just keeping things light ...

Banquet questions
In response to your questions about the banquet, as the banq. Chairman, I feel obligated to answer your concerns:
1. There is no novice registration on Friday night, however, at the banquet, you are required to wear three novice stripes on your left sleeve-or arm, if you don't have any long-sleeved shirts.
2. While there are no touring runs per se, you will need to familiarize yourself with the turn-around proceedures at the bar...
3. There are no run groups for dinner; you have to find out what table is being served first and seat yourself there-if it's not already filled.
Bon Apetite! See you at the banquet!

And just like a race weekend, get plenty of sleep the night before. Bring whatever you like to drink for after banquet partying. No one wants the season to end! Plan on a late breakfast get-together on Sunday. Now the last question, can you dance as well as you drive? Sue

THAT Didn't Stay In Weatherly, Did It Now?
Hahaaaahahahahaaaaa!
See? I knew it! It really should be (as noted in the linked thread on the Formula First board up above) The SILLY CAR CLUB of AMERICA.
(btw: the SpecMiata bunch in the NW really have started a $2500-engine-claiming-rule in their regional sub-class, Club Spec Miata.)
Cheers!
