Novices have to register & tech Friday night as there will be no time for that Sat morning as they need to be at the Sat morning novice meeting.
That's the way it is for all of the hills.
How's your car Dan?

What if I registered him online through http://www.myautoevents.com and he has the yearly inspection sticker??
My car is coming along nicely. I'm just waiting on the aluminum driveshaft to arrive, then I'll be in business. Thanks for asking Jeff. Maybe we can do some drag racing and autocrossing before the year's out.

I'm no official so they would have to calirfy for you. I would contact Matt Rowe and see if your brother can take care of things in the morning.
Even if you register online, there is still some stuff to sign when you get there and have your clothes "teched."
I have an autocross on Oct 8 near Pottsville and I am taking Hyde drag racing on Oct 22 at Island dragway ... I'll most likely be done for the year then.

Island is inside of NJ, north of I-78.dlascoskie wrote:October 8th might be doable for the autocross event. I'll let you know when it gets closer. Where's Island dragway?

I go there because you tend toget more runs in on an open track day there than you do at a bigger track like Maple Grove. Also, it's relatively close to my mechanic and I can drop the car off when I am done.
I'd love to, but I can't afford it and we have other obligations that weekendChamp wrote:Don't pack it in, come on down to VIR Halloween weekend.

Speaking from experience at Pagoda and Duryea, If he can get through registration (even if registered on line, you have to go through registartion to sign wavers etc), get teched and prep self and car and still make the novice meeting, it should be OK. But time can get tight. What if I registered him online through http://www.myautoevents.com and he has the yearly inspection sticker??

To clarify, it is a requirement of the supps at all of the events. Now by contacting the Event Chairman or the Chief Steward some agreement can typically be arranged. I am assuming he is co-driving so car setup and tech won't be an issue. As long as he has his license/membership in order I don't have a problem with him not being there Friday night, BUT, he is still responsible for getting registration and tech done before the novice meeting.
