So glad I went to Jefferson - it's hard to believe the season is almost over. I'm just not ready to hibernate after Weatherly. Any interest in a convoy to VIR?

Is there any more info out there?
I've always wanted to run at VIR.

Hello to my hillclimbing friends.
Ginny Condrey with NCR is waiting on the sanction numbers from SCCA, before she posts the entry info. Hopefully Tim will be able to provide a link when she has them ready.
Awesome course. We will be running the "Oak Tree" end of the track. Very cool down hill section (with sort`ve a cork screw), then an awesome puckering uphill section. Tim and I had a great battle a few years back on this course.
Yes, they do allow camping. But, I do not think there is power outlets in the TT paddock. There are showers (for sure down at the main paddock). Thor, you will love it. Very cool track for FV`s.
There will be a combo saturday night social with the road race crowd (running the other end of the track). Plenty of food, beer.
Not sure who/whom is working/running this event from NCR (their region). It should run nicely. I do not anticipate it being an transponder/passing event like we had at Kershaw this year. Maybe next time!

September seems a little early to be puttin' the car away for the season so VIR sounds good. I used the run the National Solo and Pro Solo Events at Petersburg. VIR is maybe another 1 1/2 hr drive.? Not too bad from Southern York County, PA.
I'll have to think hard about this one.

Perhaps you might want to have an informal meeting at Weatherly at the Fri. or Sat. party to see who all is going, etc.
Cool, that would give me the best opportunity to talk Keith into the drive down (he is generally best persuaded to do these types of things when the refrigerator is full of good beer ). So far, I have managed to reserve the use of his truck that weekend ...dspgti wrote:"informal meeting" sounds like an excuse to drink
