Team Points - Resolution of Issue

Post by TKnorr »

After communicating with many PHA members and reviewing the many helpful posts on our website, the following will be the interpretation of the team points for the 2006 season:
At any Time Trial event, if a team member does not compete, the alternate (substitute) may earn points for the team. Only one driver can serve the role of alternate (substitute) for the season.
At any given Time Trial event, only one member of a team can earn points for a class.

All PHA officers were contacted as well as a team member from all four teams. They all agree to this interpretation.
Beginning with our PHA meeting in November, Team Points will be an agenda item. Changes in the rules will be considered; at the very least the language will be clear with no ambiguity. :)

Revised team points as per clarification.

Speednation 72
Cool Guys 71
Eternal Adolescence 60
Danko Gas 44

Cool Guys still hold an advantage due to possible bonus points.
