hello, i'm new to this site. this year i'll hopefully be competing in all but 2 events. my question is in regaurds to nomex. how many total layers are required for the driver body (excluding gloves and socks)
by the way, i owe somebody money for reserving me a number. i think it's tim royer

Hi,

That goes to Matt Rowe but I will be taking payments at Jefferson again for Perm numbers.

Yes you need either a 2 layer suit and no underwear (nomex) or single layer suit with underwear (nomex). SFI 3.2A/1 I believe.

This event novice meeting is combined with drivers meeting at 8am.

the damn shame work is it actually requires you to be there. unfortunately i'm on call on memorial weekend. the good thing is i won't be working another holiday weekend this summer. in june i may have to work the padoga weekend too.

"Griffinbilt", huh? I seem to remember that on the back of two Porsche 914 SSS cars that raced at Summit Point in the MARRS Series back in the (gulp) 1970's.

Any relation?
