I'll roll over today and check out the hill again...I heard there was some "patching" done.

here is the scoop...just walked it (too cold for moped ride today!)
they did repair the track:
1- small patch just after start
2 - anotehr full width patch 30 yards after start
3 - Half track width patch, about 20 yards long on straight
4 - repaved entering turn 1...to the entrance of turn 2. Turn one was made wider
5 - repaved start; middle between turn 3 & 4 almost out of turn 4
6 - repaved start; middle between turn 4 & finish...all the was through finish.

I'll go over to the hill today with the dogs and do the return road, I stood at the top yesterday and wanted to go down it...but opted to walk back the up side so I could get all the facts on the repairs correct...too much St. Paddy's day Harp had my memory glands slightly frosted!

Depends what you mean by "camp". There are no amenities, just yucky porta-pottis. No electric. Several motorhomes & car trailers outfitted as campers. I'm sure you'd be welcome at the various parties in the pits. Bring whatever you like to drink & maybe something to throw on the grill, or a dish to share. And bring mud-boots, I can't believe the weather will cooperate.

Ok....I got back over to the hill yesterday. Almost the entire return track has been repaved. After you crest the hill post finish... and about 15 - 20 yards down hill, the new slab starts and continues almost to the bottom. There was a half track patch closer to the bottom and they paved the fork to the right, where we have been using the left fork in the past for touring laps.
I did notice yesterday that the build up around the finish area is pretty considerable...you will not want to drop a tire(s) off the edge!!
All in all the track looks real good, will need a good sweeping. Almost every part of the track has a complete new surface (within the last two years) EXCEPT much of the up straight away which remains original, with some patching here and there.
