It should be by late Friday at the latest. Rich (the points keeper) has been sending me updates but I have not had time to make the changes to the website. Fortunately I have my first weekend in over a year where I'm not going to be travelling so I should have a chance to update everything.

That's right. I did finally get the points updated on the website. Just for those that missed it, the Team Competition is still wide open with 3 of the teams able to pull off the title. So, all team drivers get ready for Weatherly it should be an interesting battle to the end. Also, there are still some class championships that are undecided. I know I'm looking forward to next weekend's finale.

Team Championship

Post by Rich Sweigart »

Matt is correct, the Team Championship is coming down to the last event. Team Ballistic has held the lead since the first event with Blind Squirrels close behind but, the OTHG+Punk&Dad could steal the title with bonus points. F Production is a dead heat, and Mary Anne could win the Vintage 1 title in the SAAB!

Both Fabio & I have our names misspelled on the points list.
His last name is Vlacci and my first name is Jeffrey.

Thanks :)

I go by the results as far as spelling. Maybe you and Fabio where not clear in printing your names or shorten the name on the entry form, which lead to the misspelling. I will make the changes for the next pionts update.

Rich is right, the spelling usually gets taken from the results and between hand entry and hurried handwriting the occasional mistake gets made. Hopefully no hard feelings though as it's not intentional, if it was we would come up with much more creative "mistakes"

Anyway, I changed the current listings so you should be all set, at least until next year.

No hard feelings at all.
I was just making an observation.

I have come to accept that my handwriting/printing is terrible and I am used to having the wrong name in race results. My one big moment of fame was a final round appearance at Summer Slam on ESPN2 and they announced me (and printed it on screen) as Jeffrey Falco *sigh*

... that sad part is I actually think Falco is cooler than Fazio

Dunno what to respond to first! Well, let's start with the silly stuff. Mary Anne is spelled wrong on the points listing...that I am used to since there are many ways to spell it. My weird last name always seems to be spelled correctly.

But WOW, Rich, .....I don't keep track of points and such...so it is amazing to be in the "lead" with points. Hey, I just love to run the hills!! :D

I am absolutely dreading the winter  after last year's winter being soooo long after my first season driving. Perhaps an autocross in Ole Bess the Buick will have to be done to help the winter move along!

Mary Anne,

I am autocrossing on the 25th (weekend after Weatherly).
The event is held by NEPA at the Schuylkill Mall which is only 20-25 minutes up the road from you :)

It's right on Route 61 about 2-3 miles north of Pottsville.

Championship Trophies

Post by Rich Sweigart »

Everyone,

Since there is some driver spelling errors in the listed points, I will put out a forum post appox. one week after Weatherly with a list of Class Champions and Team Champions in an effort to get everyone's name correct on their championship trophy. Otherwise, please send me an email at the address below and I will correct the names on my master points list.
