Steve,

Not sure about how many cars but you can count them :-) See my separate post. I didn't see any times so I'll let others comment.

Ursala asked where you were and I informed her about your post, indicating you had to work :-(

I can confirm 60 cars and not a drop of rain, until the teardown started on Sunday and even that was over quickly. One correction to Tim's report though, there were actually 19 class records broken. I have to publically apologize to Darryl Danko, somehow when we checked all of the class records from the final results we missed him setting a new record in the Atlantic. I guess we must just think he can't possibly get any faster in that car!

I thought the event turned out great, but I may be a little biased. But even so the Trout Run Fire company and already have ideas to improve things for next year.

Thanks to everyone that came and to the others, we hope you'll join us next year. It's a great town as well as a challenging hill.

The event was- in a word- AWESOME! It only took an average of 3 hrs to get there via 81-80 (no delays...a miracle!). The hill is a driver's course. Wolves at turnaround, bears next to the paddock. The setting is idylic. A well run, organized event. I'll certainly be back! Thanks to all invoved with the running of the event!

Well, to make it clear, it is MY fault that we didn't list the Atlantic record as broken. I was running through the list, and somehow must've switched the old time with the new in my mind.

For the record, Darryl beat the old Atlantic record (which was his too) but something in the range of TWO SECONDS.

Sorry, my fault.

Thor,

Yes, I did set a new H-1 class record. I beat the old one by something like .05 seconds. I wouldn't say I broke the old one just cracked it. Kinda like being "a little bit pregnant"

Paul Behofist, please email me. I have a pic to send you.
