Proposed Changes to the 2022 PHA Supps

For the 2022 Supplementary Regulations, we have two documents for review. These documents will be discussed with the intent of approval at the January 29th Annual Meeting.

The first document is an update to 2021 Supps for 2022 with minor changes (highlighted in red):
1. Page 1 added "HillClimb and" to SCCA Time Trial Rules
2. Pages 17, 18, 20, 21 and 27 to eliminate of "TT" before event official positions
3. Page 23 for a note on novice touring runs
4. Page 37 to refer to bar/cage requirements for Solo classes
5. Pages 37 and 41 to realign GCR classes.
6. Page 38 to eliminate SCCA as a Rally rulebook

The second document is a proposal of changes brought up at the Critique Meeting in November. It consists of 5 sections:
1. Class Change for Super Production
2. Safety Changes for 2022
3. Safety Changes for 2023 that are to be noted in 2022
4. Safety Clarifications
5. Tabled Suggestions

The second document presents the current (2021) Supp items in the left hand column and the proposed (2022 and 2023) Supp items in the center column. The intent is to be able to cut and paste the proposed wording in direct replacement of the current wording upon approval for 2022. The right hand column contains brief commentary.

It should be noted that the Safety Changes for 2022 should have a minor impact on current PHA drivers.

After reviewing and discussing the feedback received so far, the Supps Committee has updated the draft 2022 Supplementary Regulations document and draft Proposal of Changes document. Both documents have been uploaded to the PHA website at the links in the post above (or see the Rules > PHA Supplemental Rules page on the PHA website).
