2014 Polish Mountain

Hi,
News about the upcoming Polish Mountain Hillclimb:
1. This year, the Saturday dinner will be in the field (paddock area). The menu will consist of: fried chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad, kettle cooked fresh sweet corn (cooked in the husk) pies, soft drinks. Must have wrist band to be served dinner. Drivers will have wrist band from registration, all others guest must purchase wrist band @ $20.00. Draft beer will be offered for sale.
2. Registration Friday and Saturday will also be in the field (paddock area).
3. This past winter was harsh. The State of Maryland has put in 32 patches on the hill, including remedying the dip in turn 3 (2nd left-hander). Overall, the report is that the road is improved over previous years.
4. The Ramada Cumberland is offering a discounted rate ($89 vs. $109-$129) for lodging. Tell them you are with the Polish Mountain Hillclimb to get the rate. If you have problems, ask for Randy.
5. If you or anyone in your party want to volunteer at the event, please let me know whe name and t-shirt size.
