I'll be running in a car with two drivers and will need magnetic sheet material to use for the second number. Can anyone suggest a particular material from a particular place that will hold up to lets say 100-120mph like I might see at the finish line or Duryea?
There are lots of places that sell 1/32" material which looks like it would work but places like McMaster-Carr list it as very low pull strength. Makes me worry that it will come off at speed.
Thanks,
Keith K

The stuff I used came from my local sign shop. As long as their is not a lot of bondo on the panal you are using it should be fine at that speed. Mine was good. The bigger you can make it, the better it will stick.

Magnetic sheet has a hard time covering vinyl like a number panel or old school circle.

Re: Magnetic Material for running multiple numbers
i have a bunch of 12 x12 sheets and live near Morgantown if you want some free of charge. When I first used it I was concerned it would fall off at speed because it is sort of low pull, but after running a few events with every sticker on my car using them, it works fine.
