You can't just take the results for '68 Hershey and hit the high points for an era for CP the way you could with BP. It is necessary to skim across the era. I see Bill Lessig with his Lotus, Barry Patterson with the 240 z, Darrel Howe with a Tiger,
Robert Schuler in a Datsun, Bob Ladd with the E-type, Dick Weiss in a Porsche, Lamar Ludwig with a Tiger.

Yea....you'll have to span a little more than 68 for this.

AP 62-77
BP 58-78
CP 58-78

Ron, Thanks for triggering a great set of memories. I crewed for Sam when he was campaigning an Austin-Healey 100 (I also had one at that time) and later this pictured Porsche. To say 'crewed' is a stretch..I was very young and hauling tires, tools and gas was about all I was qualified to do at the time. As I recall that was a rare car: Aluminum body and lightweight plexiglass side and rear windows, and a unique front windshield that had a very fine wire mesh sandwiched between layers of shatter proof glass - the first electrically heated windshield I ever saw. I wish I could remember the designation..something like S90R...super 90, race prepared by the factory....anyone remember for sure?

Good stuff....it is listed as a Super 90. Not sure if that designates engine specs only or other.??

I think Bill is shown at Goldmine here. Probably the right hander at the pits.

Sam Price Porsche Super 90 "GT", less then 10 made. Wendel Scrodon from North Carolina has the old Sam Price car.
