Weatherly Hill Climb has gone WIDE!

Post by Tim Royer »

Weatherly Hill Climb has been improved! Not only will your lines and turn in points be all messed up but you should be able to pull 1-2 secs faster times if you use the whole road. The shoulders are much wider and in most turns it looks like a good foot to 18” gain on each side of the road, some spots are even wider. Drains and other safety issues are being addressed to with smooth transition grates. Once everything is topcoated I’ll run up again I just got lucky and saw them paving the outside of Turn 3.

Spots that were completely taken down to the ground are:

Inside Turn 1
From Turn 2-3
Inside Turn 4
Turn 4 left lane through the jump and out almost to Finish.

As of right now the base coat has been completed on the whole hill (Looks GREAT!!) . The top coat is being applied now, starting from the top of the hill past finish. It looks like the topcoat should be finished today from above Turn 2 to past finish.

Thanks for the update, Tim. Guess I have to get some supports welded on to the front subframe to take the 'Jump' a little faster.
RIP Joe, my friend.

Must go faster!!!!
