Is there an easy way to Giants from the turnpike? The last time I went I ended up coming down the hill.

That is probably the most direct route, but there are two other ways to go.
If you come off the turnpike, turn right onto 115 south.
Go about 3/4 mile and turn right onto Ridge Road.
If you miss that, the next right turn is Laurel Run Road.
Follow Laruel Run Road about 3 miles to the fire house.
Just past there, the Giant Hill is to the right, but if you don't want to come down there, you can turn left and follow the truck route to the left.
That will take you out to Route 309 North in about 3 miles or so. Turn right on 309. Follow that a few miles and you will pass KMart and Advance Auto. Just past the park and ride, you will bear right at the next road.
Go to the stop sign and turn right. The pits are about 1/2 mile.
This is a long way around to avoid coming down the hill.
The other option is to turn left off of the turnpike onto route 115 north.
Go all the way down the mountain and get off exit one. At the exit ramp. turn right onto Bus 309 south.
Stay on 309 until you pass the Chevy Dealer and then get in left lane at Denny's which will still be Bus 309.
Turn left at that light and go straight through a few more past Home Depot, and Sam's club.
Just past Sheetz on the right, you will bear right off the exit.
At the bottom of the exit turn left.
Pits are 1/2 mile.
Again, this is a long way around to avoid coming down the hill.

Last option of turning left at the Turnpike is really the safest with a big trailer. Plus it brings you past the Sheetz to pick up more ice for all the drinkees!
