Mike my 6th team member is Paul Behofist. So you can change the question marks to Paul

His car wasn't ready for Jefferson and unfortunately he was injured at work and could not be at Weatherly. Hopefully he will be ready for the next event. So for his points for the first two events would be zero and zero. And by the way great idea for this thread

The official points keeper sent the points list to the web master a week or two ago. As of last week John Stinsman said the team list would be set after Weatherly. I am waiting to get the final team roster and then send the points to the web master. At this time, I don't think anything is going to be automatic. I get my results when they are posted to the web site.

To be fair, the points from event 1 were sent on 6/9. As this was only the first event and the second event was 3 days away, I had not put them up yet. As soon as the updated points based on Weatherly are available they will be posted.

Just a thought - we really don't need anyone to keep track of the team points - we can all just do it here. I will update the original post as the even results come in. Then we can all look at it to see if I made any mistakes. That way we can deal with it in right away. So if everyone helps out a little to audit my original post as I edit it to show current standings, we don't have to assign anyone else to do it. BTW, I need the name of the 4th team and the members I am missing from that team - thanks

I didn't mean to say I was passing the buck. Your logic makes perfect sense. In fact who needs anything right after the first event anyway. The finishing order is the points order.

Nelson has already sent me the results and the points calculations are done. I am just waiting for the team list to be finalized and sent to me. Mike's efforts are welcome and usefull especially as a check and balance but my guess is that an "offical" points tally has to be kept. I have no problem having Mike made the points keeper for the team challenge.

OK - Morg (Time Bandits) and Carl (Team Oz), and Tom (el Presidente and captain of team no name) - please log in and out up a post as to your audit of the team points that I have listed here so far (through Pagoda). Just look at the results of all 3 events, and figure out how many points you team has scored, and check it against my numbers. Again - 2 points for showing up, 1 point for everyone you beat and 2 points for breaking a record. I would like things to be finalized in time for Giants so we can have some official standings. Thanks

I just got a computer that's up and running and got my pha forum account straightened out. So i just wanted to let you know that i looked over the team points and everything up til giants looks good. When they post polish mnt I'll check that one too. Thanx alot.

Thanks Carl - your team has made this year a lot more fun for me. I can't wait until the final showdown at Weatherly, assuming you haven't taken an insurmountable lead by then. I have updated everything for Duryea - great show and congrats to Jim for getting the highest point total for a single driver so far this year. - Mike

I went over the points and it looks like we both have the same numbers. Sure looks like a race to the finish... Could be anyones game now. Now if I can get my head back in the game maybe I can help my team pick up some more points. See ya this weekend for round 7!

Are the team points actually posted somewhere? Or is everyone keeping them separately.
How does anyone know if all lists the same?

Yes Rick, Mike updates the first posting on this thread. Can't say that is the best method, but Mike has it done within hours of the last event. If there needs to be a better system, let me know.

Thanks - I saw Bill Weaver at the bottom of the S2 results and counted him, but he was in S3. So I corrected the results. Will bring copies to Weatherly - thanks for pointing that out. I just did a re-audit of everything and it looks correct.

I got three more points for the time bandits before the bonus by my count. I'm not sure how to count the bonus points. Is it half a point per event per driver that made the whole season?
