Directions from Reading to Weatherly?

Coming home from Weatherly last year i followed some people to Reading and their way was very quick and direct and of course i cant remember how we did it.

Mapquest says:

61N
right onto 895
left onto 443
309 N
Right onto Ben Titus Rd
Ben Titus turns into Quakake
Quakake becomes Brenkman
Brenkman becomes Hudsondale
Once i am in the center of town i can get to the pit area.

Is this the best way from Reading?

61 North to 895...Right onto 895 (to New Ringold) to 443 (cross tracks at convenience store)...Left onto 443 and follow to 309...Left onto 309 through Tamaqua...past the Hometown Mall (on right)...Right at Traffic Light (ice cream place on left... also a sign that says "Weatherly 12 miles) and follow for approx. 12 miles into Weatherly. See you at Tech.
