Did anyone get the #51 Vee?

I have an entry list from the 1992 Duryea Hillclimb. It has Alex Nole in a Philson Special #51 FV.

Only reason is that the wall is clearly from that site. I have no other clue for that one. As I also have no clue as to what FVC is supposed to mean...

That Lumina in Kodak colors would appear to be the number 14 driven by Carey Giadosh. If, perchance, it would be number 144, the driver would be Henry Pascucci. All assuming the Mel is correct about the year being '99. Class was HIS2.

The only #7 Porsche I can find is an Alan Boonin of Dallas, PA running ASP at '93 Giants Despair which is not where the picture was taken. Also, the results sheet doesn't tell which model Porsche Alan was driving. Also Alan was apparently a one hill wonder and is not to be found on any other results sheets. Also #7 was commonly used by Dawn Zechman and Dan Licklider in that epoch and this is obviously not either of them.

Yeah, the Bugeye is Captain 2 Stroke, aka Chuck Christ driving his ex-Dave Roethel Bugeye and late member of the Lavender Hill Mob gang that was the driving force behind Marlboro Speedway in Maryland. Dave's ex-wife Sue was a long time road racing chief steward.

Don,

The 914 is a Philly Region guy that ran alot of solos in the mid-90s, I think he only ran 1 or 2 hills and dropped out. I think he was going to college at Drexel and parents could only afford a 914.

Re sport racer #14: For the 25th anniversary running of the Duryea Hillclimb in 1975 there was VSCCA classs. Amongst them was Ron VonKlien of Hollywood , CA in a 1959 Lola Mk 1 wearing #14. His time was 2:45.57.

Great work guys! Don, I think we need to compare what results you have to what I have...we might be able to complete a set!

So....is the 914 is not Alan Boonin, right?

I don't think the 914 is Alan.

I see in the results sheet from Duryea H/C 1990,that Bob Pritchard drove an Autodynamics MK 1 carrying the number 51. He finished 7th in class with a 150.255. I think this is believable given the picture.
