Car looks like a Lola S1 which the factory raced in '59 and '60. It was the fastest of the small under 1600cc front engine sports racers -- it's primary competition was the Lotus XI LeMans.
I recently saw 4 of these cars -- complete, sitting in storage in a shop in Acton, MA.

Brgds,

That's Scotty Hess. He was an adopted part of our family for a long while. He used to tow that with a hearse. :D

Ok...let's go for two here...and I "might" have tips on these...but let's confirm.

Could #16, the Solo Vee...appears to be an Autodynamics be Bob Pritchard???

and #9...Formula Vee...is this Tammy Oswald in the Viper FV-1???

I think your right that does look like Bob. And the Vee kind of looks like an early version of Tammy's. But I didn't think she ever ran number 9. But my memory sucks these days. What color is the number 16 one?

All I have are these black & white scans...

actually, maybe that is Jim Oswald...he ran #9 at 1991 Pagoda

If that's when that pic was from then for sure it's Jim. I know what the other two cars look like and that's not them. Okay, iirc Bob's was silver, kind of looks like it could be silver to me.

That's Pritchard's Solo Vee; Scotty Hess and I in my blue Horizon went at it for an entire season in ITC...it was great!

The black car is the ex-Frick Porsche Royale with Eric Wagner driving. I think Eric bought it from Frick and painted it black. Last time , the car was sold , it was yellow. Primer- White-Black- Yellow.
