Reading folks...remember Reading Beer?

Post by Ron Mann »

It was gone for 30 years....came back in draft form last year...but NOW you can find it at the distributor in bottle form...the classic "ringed" label!

It's not too bad...brewed by Lion Brewery in Wilkes-Barre.

Reading beer in Wilkes-Barre...both hill climb towns...hill climbs & beers...coincidence!?!??

Ever try Lions Head, also from Lion Brewery in Wilkes-Barre? Great stuff and only $12 a case for bottles! :D

Well, if it's pretty good, it's not like the original. Reading Premium was not very good, right up there with Sunshine.
Thanks,
Geo.

There was also a FREELAND Brewery. I AM old enough to remember the building, but alas it went out of business with Prohibition, so I am NOT old enough to remember the beer.

NO, Linda is NOT that old, just me (Pitman). The above post was sent from Linda's PC as is this one. Merry Christmas hillclimbers, enjoy your family and friends, and remember what it is all about.....then have a beer.

John
To save any future questions as to where you send your e-mails from I have the perfect solutiion. If you and Linda got married it would solve all the problems. Then the name on the e-mail would read John and Pit Crew Pitman. Just a suggestion
