FALL JEFFERSON 2007

Post by Tom Styczynski »

I can't speak for everyone else but I had a fantastic time at this year's Fall Jefferson Time Trial. The weather was perfect, organization was great and a special thanks to all of the volunteers.

Thanks to a clutch problem I was the slowest car on the track. I truly appreciated the patience of the starter and track crews plus the drivers in front and behind me.

Next year it will be different. I had a lot of advice on my winter motor rebuild. Everyone was helpful and presented a lot of ideas. After the event I called Seven Enterprises in Folsom, CA. I am now in line for a Mike Kearney built 1275 for my Sprite. If you do not remember Mike he is Foretech Engineering and builder of fast SCCA Minis. He is also the designer/builder of a tube frame, front wheel drive Mini that was last of the fast front drive cars in GT5.

Thanks again for another well done PHA event. I cannot wait for next year.
