SCCA membership question?

Post by svann »

A friend who has HSR, SVRA (vintage racing), and EMRA licenses wants to do the Cumberland Hillclimb. Is there a single event SCCA membership available, just for him to try a hillclimb?

Stan,

Your friend needs a SCCA membership, I am not sure whether or not SCCA accepts HSR or SVRA licenses. I know that we do not accept EMRA licenses.

Stan,
He can apply for a temporary membership and a novice tt driver license at the event.

The temporary membership can't be used for competition purposes. He would still have to apply for a regular membership.
