Blue Mountain Region BBQ

Post by Mary Anne Fieux »

As announced at Rose Valley, Blue Mountain Region is having their annual BBQ. They needed a new "host" for the BBQ, and this silly SAAB person offered their SAAB Shelter for the BBQ, and it was, accepted. Who would miss the chance to see some more old SAAB's!

Blue Mountain Region is inviting all PHA members and their friends and family to come out for an old fashioned summertime BBQ. Let's all remember how LONG winters are without racing and being with our "racing family". Without further Mary Anne ramblings, the following are the details for the BBQ:

DATE: Saturday, August, 11, 2007 (no rain date, plenty of shelter if it does rain, 24 ft. X 24 ft. covered deck and inside space too! Bring your racing DVD's)
TIME: 3:30 p.m. (come early, come late, it's OK)
PLACE: Mary Anne Fieux’s SAAB Shelter for Homeless SAAB's
255 West Rauschs Rd.
Orwigsburg, PA 17961
(call, email or mapquest for directions)
PHONE: 570-943-2790 (answering machine doesn't work if I'm on-line, that's country living!
EMAIL: few58ma@aol.com
PLEASE R.S.V.P. by Sunday, August 5, 2007, or so, we need to know how much main "chow" to buy.
TOYS: There is plenty of room for "recreation". I have a set of horseshoes, but there is room for an additional pit. The Stinsmans brought their Bocce balls to one BBQ here, and hopefully they will bring them again, if not they will be fixing their Rose Valley battle wounded car. If you have a volleyball net to set up, there is enough room for that too. You get it, bring toys! :D

Please bring a side dish or dessert of your choice and remember to bring a chair. If you plan on having a few beers or so, plan on spending the night – bring your tent or blow up mattress, there is plenty of room. There is enough room for RV's and other camper trailers! Breakfast will be served....perhaps after a SAAB "ring-a-ding-ding" wakeup call!
