It might be remembered this 5th anniversaryof the Sept 11th attacks that among the passengers of UAL 93 that crashed in Somerset County PA after the passengers attempted to take control of the aircraft were two NNJ Region SCCA workers
Joe DeLuca and Linda Gronlund
A couple months ago I went to the Shanksville site. While there is no particular tribute to these two among the many, there are benches on which peoples' names are carved into the back rests. The one for DeLuca did not have its second slat but I'm assuming it was being crafted.

We took Mom out in 2002 and put a 3 ring binder with info on Joe and Linda. It had info and pics on all the activities they were involved in SCCA. Also some of Joe's great Raymond the Cat cartoons. They take down stuff when the wall gets full and are storing it in another area till the memorial gets finished and will be added to that. There were a line of wooden angels that had each name on and the Joe and Linda ones were attached with a piece of lace from one to the other. That's what we were told by some of the people in the area. Did you go to the little church that they have refurbished and dedicated to just a memorial area for the victims of that crash?
