The following will be handed out to all drivers at registration:
All two (2) driver cars are requested to pit in the area located below the start line.
Touring Runs:
Touring runs are mandatory for ALL novices. Any other competitor who wishes a touring run may request one from either the Chief Steward or the Event Organizer.
The touring run will be run as soon as possible after the novice orientation.
All novices should have their full driver’s gear available and ready at the novice meeting so that they may get in their cars as quickly as possible for the touring run after novice orientation.
For cars with two (2) novice drivers, the driver running in group 2 should be the first one on the touring run. The second driver will go up on a touring run after the car returns to the start line. Then can get back in line for a timed run without making a driver change.
The touring run(s) will have a pace car to regulate speed. Under no circumstances should a driver lag behind so that they can gain speed for a higher speed run.

That's a great solution to the "touring run" question.
Thanks for thought and consideration put into this by all involved.
