To quench all the bad rumers I heard at Giants:
I just spoke with Dave Williams of the Cumberland MD Chamber of Commerce. The ball is rolling in Cumberland. He has had his meeting with the Flintstone MD Volunteer Fire Department. They are now extemely excited and meeting within 1-2 weeks with the Allegany County Commisioners. The Commisioners then need to go to the MD DOT people and request that the road be allowed to be closed. All of this should happen before mid August. As we have approved the hill and surveyed it on our end and if the MD get this done by mid August This event could be a go. I would now give it a 60% chance of occurance (what the hell I am not a weatherman so I could be right).
After the approvals I need to get on the Cumberland Chamber to get a trophy sponsor.
Fred is gonna get a hill.
