HI,

For years I did my own studies being a Tech for over 20 years. I have cut many filters in my time and what you see in some filters is horrible. Poor cheap design that really won't do the job. The best oil filter by far is a WIX filter. This filter is the only on in the industry that I found that actually has a spring in it! The others that have that tempered spring plate don't hold up to heat. In a very short time the cheaper design starts bleeding oil past the filter.

Now in a racing motor that has high volume and pressure I found the FRAM HP series is the best. The regular FRAM and any other highly promoted filter they have are made like the cheapo's mentioned above. The HP series lets the most volume of oil flow plus the best in micron filtering.

My 2 cent.
