Hill Climbing 101
Will a novice be permitted to compete in any hillclimb competition?
HI Jim,
Yep, as long as you have a vehicle and safety gear that complies to the rules you'll be running at the first event. Bring your state drivers license, SCCA membership that has Time Trials Novice on it.
What you can do before this is get an SCCA membership application and Time Trials Novice permit at http://www.scca.com. The TT app. is under the "Club Racing" tab under forms. The General Comp Rules are also there to be downloaded.
