I don't think its locust gap. Thats a bit too far. I'd say its more gowen city. PA 125 was where I got my start learning to really drive. Last year I really figured out what I was doing on that back road, and also realized that driving at these limits on public roads were dangerous so I moved to AutoX. Did well there. Drove Ron Sibulsky's F440 at an one autoX and got pretty damn close to his time. Now i'm in the process of buying an F440 to run at autoX and hill climbs. All I have to do now is convince my dad to let me run hill climbs. If you guys could tell me how safe it is that would be great. He's most concerned about me loosing my feet in a crash. Just how many people do you have lost their feet in an F440 in hill climbs.

Show up at the first event's driver meeting and count the really short guys.   (sorry!)

Actually we have one of the safest series around. This didn't just happen, we work at it. I don't know how your 440 is constructed, is there a frame member in front of your feet, etc?

Hey, does anyone have the copy of the video of Chris Burns cartwheeling his 440 at turn six(why we call it "Oh Sh_t") at Duryea. I believe Nelson circulated a copy a year or two ago. F1racer77 should take a look at that. May scare him away but the result was Chris wasn't hurt. Personally, I think your nuts to run any Formula car at a hillclimb. Ask those of us on this list alone that had an incident(Mel, Fabio, Steve, me twice, how about Mike Ancas?). Give me a tin top.

I drove the road up from Ravine on Saturday. The turns were real interesting with snow all over em! There are about 4 houses 1/2 way up that kinda ruin it. Its not as steep as I last remembered. (old farts disease) No switchbacks that seem so popular on the hills. More like an uphill road course. Couple of nice, fast S bends however. Oh well!
Its called Mollystown Road.
