What are the Duryea numbers looking like?

at least you do not have to work for 1.5 hours in the middle of a large parking lot and there are plenty of trees up in Reading, unlike DCBigfork wrote:After standing around on the heat at FedEx yesterday you want to try it again but with a fire suit on too?

well thats some good newsNelson wrote:OK here it is, now don't go telling your 40 friends that there are still openings.
After counting the pit spaces along 13th St. and along the connecting road at the city garage (the Pagoda pits) we decided that we could fit 120 cars. Now this depends on people only taking up one space per car (not entry). Two driver cars get only one space. This pertains to all of the pit spaces. No tow vehicles or trailers will be allowed in the pit area (unless you can get your race car in the same space as you trailer/tow vehicle and not block the road).
As of 8/15:
119 entries, 108 cars, 33 novices.
Please pay attention to the run groups, they WILL be different than at other hills so that we can even out the number of cars in each group.

I really hope we can self regulate on this issue. I still see people with trailers and other vehicles in the paddock area....Nelson wrote:No tow vehicles or trailers will be allowed in the pit area (unless you can get your race car in the same space as you trailer/tow vehicle and not block the road).

HI,
The only thing that would be a problem is if you parked where it took up a camping spot. There is some room up there but not much. I saw at Pagoda there was a few people that had their cars parked under a tree in the grass and it just sat there. Meanwhile there were people looking for spots to campout.
Duryea it is packed like a tuna can so keep it organized up there, I have a tractor trailer to get in that mess!

Nelson, do you happen to know the width of each pit allocation? Will a 12 x 12 ez-up infringe on the next pit? Thanks.
