Giants stuff needed!!

Post by Tim Royer »

HI all,

I just found out that WVIA a Wilkes-Barre PBS station is going to do a documentry on Giants Despair Hill Climb. I need a ton of stuff to send like new and old movies, along with pictures and accurate statements of the hills history. Of course anyone suppling footage, and pictures would be mentioned at the end of the credits. Please contact me if you have anything to donate to this project.

Thanks in advance!!!!!
Regards,

Tim, you might want to ask Bert Geib at Duryea. I am sure she has movies and pics. I think Norma Oswald might have some stuff as well.

HI bud,

Yep , that was the first few people that popped into my head. Alot of locals in the area have some very old stuff but they won't part with them.

What about Dushong(sp) the older gentleman who had done all those videos? I remember he had a fire years ago but not sure if he lost the footage. Hell I haven't seen him in years maybe he's not even alive anymore, Hmmm.

I would imagine you might have thought of Oscar Kovaleski...
