2024 Shenandoah

Post by Rich Rock »

Registration for this will open on MotorsportReg.com Sunday April 14th at 11am. In an effort to ensure that this event can actually happen BMR has agreed to be the hosting region, and has a signed contract with the track.

Early entry fee is $325 and that early entry discount expires on July 22nd. There's a 40% discount for a second entry (same driver in a different car, or same driver/car in a different class).
Yes it's early, but BMR wants to give everyone as much time as possible to get registered, because the final decision on whether to hold the event hinges on how many entries and how much sponsor money is in place on July 22nd.

Please note that sponsor donations won't be an option when you register on MSR, but will need to be a separate payment directly to BMR. More details on that to come.

Should the event get canceled, ALL entry fees and sponsor's monies will be returned.

I hope we can make it work!

The 2024 Fall Shenandoah Track Sprint event will be held Aug 31 – Sep 1, 2024 on the Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point Motorsports Park, Summit Point, WV. Registration for this event is now open, and is online only on MotorsportReg:

https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/20 ... ain-252026

We are again inviting cars in SCCA National Time Trials classes to compete at this event (in addition to the regular PHA classes). See details below.

The Fall Shenandoah Event will be held in a Track Sprint format. Pit Out (and the start line) is between turns 2 and 3. The Finish Line is just past the “Ram Site” crossover after turn 20, and Pit In is at turn 21. This course is essentially the same as we’d run in the Time Attack format, except for the last turn — the crossover at “Old Ram” just before Turn 3 is eliminated.

For more information on the course and run format, please see the Shenandoah course description on our website:

https://pahillclimb.org/about/the-courses/shenandoah/

A couple of things to note:

-- Classeswe are again inviting cars in SCCA Time Trials National classes to compete at this event. Safety requirements and car preparation rules depend on whether you are running in a SCCA National or PHA class:

SCCA TIME TRIAL NATIONAL CLASSES: For cars running in the SCCA Time Trial National classes, use the applicable car preparation and safety level rules for Time Trial found under:

https://timetrials.scca.com/
https://timetrials.scca.com/pages/natio ... fety-rules

PHA CLASSES: For cars running in the PHA classes, see the PHA Rules Page:

https://pahillclimb.org/rules/

In short, car preparation rules can be found in the links on the Rules page depending on the PHA class — Solo, GCR, or PHA Supplemental. Safety rules are defined for all classes in the PHA Supplemental rules.

REMINDER: A Head and Neck Restraint System is required for anyone running in a PHA class.

Classing Questions: Contact Mike Robinson 2 6 7 - 3 7 7 - 0 2 5 6

-- If you run a SECOND CAR (same driver) or the SAME CAR in two different classes (same driver), you will get a 40% discount on the entry fee for the second entry.

-- Summit Point Race Track does not allow any EVs

See the online entry form on motorsportsreg for more details.
