2023 Carlisle Import/Performance

PHA At the 2023 Carlisle Import/Performance Nationals – May 12 and 13

In May 2023, the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association is once again planning to have a major presence at
the Carlisle Import/Performance Nationals. We have had hundreds of car enthusiasts visiting the PHA
display in the Race Car Pavilion each year. Our intent is to show visitors who we are, what we do, and
how our activities promote the oldest form of automobile competition – hill climbing.

Our exhibit includes continuous running video, still pictures, printed literature for distribution, and our
main attraction -- a display of our race cars. Many of our drivers, crew and workers also make
themselves available to answer questions or otherwise engage with show visitors.

Please consider exhibiting your PHA prepared car at the 2023 Carlisle Import/Performance Nationals
and/or attending to help out with our exhibit. We need about twenty five cars, and would like to have
cars that represent a good variety of the competition classes – from minimally prepped street legal cars
to full-out race cars, and everything in between. Hopefully, one of the cars on display this year will be
yours!

Participation at Carlisle has always been enjoyable for PHA members in past years. In addition to the
fun of hanging out in the PHA race car pavilion and talking to show visitors (and hanging out with fellow
PHA members), the show is overflowing with performance and import cars, and there is a lot to see and
do outside of the PHA display.

The show is formally open for visitors from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM on Friday and Saturday. PHA cars need
only be on display in the Race Car Pavilion from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day, and it is no problem if
you can display your car on Saturday only.

There is no cost for show entrance or parking for PHA participants, including tow vehicle, trailers and
RVs. Tow vehicles, RVs and trailers can park in a lot adjacent to the covered pavilion where the cars are
displayed, and camping is allowed in vehicles/trailers/RVs (but tent camping is only allowed in the
designated tent camping areas).

We will be sending out more information in early March 2023, including instructions on registration, etc.

Thanks!
