Robert DeMeno and 1957 Corvette Race car

Who knows about the past race history(i.e. type of racing when and wehere) in the late 1950's early 1960's of a 1957 Corvette ex-race car that was owned up until 1971 by a Robert DeMeno ( formerly of Skippack PA i.e. former owner of Magnum Auto Repair. Magnum Auto Repair. Skippack, Pennsylvania). The car was a basket case in 1971 when found in North Charleston South Carolina.
