Bone Stock Honda
I'm planning to hill climb a 1997 Honda Civic. A daily driver. SOHC (non V-TEC) four door with no modifications. I was wondering what the best class for a car like that to run in? Can I use just a roll bar? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe

hi Joe
Welcome to the PHA!
Good news and bad news...........the bad. The most stock class we offer is "street prepared". You would fall in to C,D,or F street prepared. I'd have to check the SCCA rules to see which one. The good......you are only required a rollbar.
Do yourself a favor before doing any mods to your car, become familiar with the rules. sometime the most innocent of mods can boot you in to a class you don't want to be in!
Please feel free to ask any questions!

Re: Bone Stock Honda
If I'm reading our supps correctly, you would be required a cage in ITA. It is a GCR based class and all of those require cages!
Maybe one of our tech guys will chime in?

Scratch that Joe. You are allowed just a bar in IT class. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks Mike. With no mods, I think this maybe my best class. Joe

Re: Bone Stock Honda
Run in FSP. Your car is best suited for that class, ITA is a faster class than FSP is.
