Configuration for Shenandoah TT
As there are various configurations that can be run at Shenandoah, I was wondering which one will be used for our first visit there?

Look on the PHA website under "The Courses" and Shenandoah to see a course map with a description of the course configuration.
Re: Configuration for Shenandoah TT
I just talked to Dave Merritt, the event chairman, and he told me the map has been redrawn, and four "chicanes" will be eliminated.
Looking at the map on this website, they are the ones between:
5 & 6
9 &11
12 & 13
19 & 20.
A good decision!
See ya there,
Rich

I'm very glad to hear that, especially about the one between 12 & 13. The course did not flow very well with them in.

Re: Configuration for Shenandoah TT
Thanks for the update. Bill Scott actually traveled to the famous Nurburgring to survey the Karrosel so he could create turn 13. He was a Formula Ford and Super Vee champ before retiring to own and operate Summit Point. I really believe he created the perfect venue for small displacement formula cars with Shenandoah. A fine tribute to a great man and the person who first provided the opportunity for me to drive a "real" road course in my Camaro back in 1983.
