Duryea Results 2013
Does anyone else have a problem opening the results from Duryea 2013? I have tried for several days with 3 different browsers. I keep getting an error message that the file is damaged and can't repair. It's only Duryea. I can open others that I try.

I can't duplicate the failure with this file.
When I open the file everything works fine.
I have tried different browsers and computers and have not had an issue.
Can one of you verify it is still a problem?
I could just re-load the file from the site?

I can't open it on my phone. Nelson said he can't open it on his computer.
Thanks for the tip about myautoevents Steve. Nelson sent me a copy but I'll use that if I have problems in the future.

Re: Duryea Results 2013
What version of Adobe Reader is installed on your PC?
This is a standard Adobe pdf file format.
I could open it from my phone, multiple PC's, different browsers, and did not have any failures.
Try downloading the file and then open it from a saved version on your pc using the latest Adobe program.
Some people have told me they could not access our menu structure properly from their phone which I am also looking in to this anomaly.
Everyone, Keep posting about problems and I will try to fix the issue if I can duplicate the problem.

Re: Duryea Results 2013
I can open all the 2013-2014 results on my laptop. It's running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. All open with either Internet Explorer 11 or Firefox 30.0
Both the Duryea 2013 and Fall Jefferson fail on a desktop running Windows 8.1 64 bit and Internet explorer 11. All other 2013 and 2014 results work on that machine.
Saving the pdf and attempting to open the local copy has no effect versus opening it in the browser. The files that work, work. Those that do not, do not.
The error for those that do not open is "The file is damaged and cannot be repaired"

Re: Duryea Results 2013
Dan,
Thank you very much.
I just happen to have a windows 8.1 64 bit machine.
I will verify the operation and see if it happens to me.
There may have been some improvements made to the file structure in adobe and it catches on it for this file.
Maybe I just need to open and save it using a newer version, will find out later and let you all know.

Re: Duryea Results 2013
To add another layer of bizarreness:
Web book running XP, and Firefox. I can open Duryea 2013 within the web browser, but saving it as a local file, and opening with Adobe Reader X results in the damaged file error.
Same thing with Fall Jefferson, opens in browser, local file is damaged.
Fall Weatherly opens either locally, or via browser.

Re: Duryea Results 2013
I have been researching this a bit more and found multiple reasons for an adobe file to act this way.
Longer files have been indicated, some random scripting can cause issues.
See some of the links below, there is even a converter to repair these problems.
http://thenubbyadmin.com/2012/04/13/sol ... -explorer/
http://custom-designed-databases.com/wo ... s-damaged/
http://www.nucleustechnologies.com/pdf-repair-tool.html
A general way to repair an adobe file:
The file that is supposedly damaged and could not be repaired can be opened and read with Foxit and if it's saved with Foxit it can than be opened with adobe acrobat without any problems, Problem solved
Seems I may need to review any of the PDF files for similar issues and try to keep them shorter.
This may take me some time so be patient.
