I received this e-mail when I came home from Giants:
Dear Morgan I am sorry to tell you this but JW is on Morphine at home and has about 2 weeks or more to live. He took a turn for the worst on 7-9 when i brought him home from dialysis on Monday night. Hospice care is coming in tonight to tend to his needs and make him comfortable for his time remaining, I guess I should say only god know's that's. You and J.W. have always been good friends I am glad after that squabble at Jefferson it turn out this way.
Have a fun filled life at hill climbing and never forget your good friend.

P.S

J.W. was a great man. He is one of the guys that took me under his wing along with Jim Cosner and others doing Safety Inspections. Godspeed J.W. and my condolences to Judy and the family.
Thanks for the post Morg.

Re: Update on J. W. Orrs
I have fond memories of JW during my SAAB driving days. He would tech my driver's bag stuff and I always had funny things inside which would give him a good laugh. I will keep his laugh in my heart.
I can only imagine the racing stories being told at the great race track above by those we now have lost. I suppose the stories will be the same as down here, just with the "Big Dude" watching over their shoulders a little bit closer.
Judy, I don't know you, but you are lucky to have been married to such a great man. My condolences, prayers, and hugs to you and your family.
