Driver suit shrinkage?????
Was wondering if anyone would have an idea why my Simpson Driving Suit seemed to shrink since January. It seems to have got a bit tighter. I searched the internet and could not find anything on this subject. Oh well maybe it is the Humidity!

Its been exposed to too much food. As you get older, this happens to most racers.
Better to be a has been, than a never was.

Morg - I'll make you only diet cocktails this season. Sugar-free pomegrante or cranberry with vodka. Seriously, when I bought my new suit, the maker said to never put it in the dryer. Not good for the fire-retardent properties & the lining & suit shrink at different rates. Or buy something comfy - my 2 piece has "harem pants" they're so loose. But I can sit crossed legged(?) on the trailer floor to tie my driving shoes. Get over it - I'll never look like Danica & you'll never be mistaken for Alain Prost.

Re: Driver suit shrinkage?????
Morg,
It's how you wash and dry it! Next time, wash it as normal and then tie it on a pole while still wet and run as fast as you can holding it up in the air untill it is completley dry. If it still doesn't fit... keep repeating cycle untill it does.
Let me know how it works out,
Dave Y

Re: Driver suit shrinkage?????
Doesn't matter Morg. We need to see you in a new suit to go with that new car. Maybe it should say BANDIT across the front of it. I find it very exciting that you're coming with that car and I wish you luck this year.
RIP Joe, my friend.
