2011 schedule?
Howdy,
I'm planning the local Steel Cities autox schedule and I don't want to conflict with PHA events, since it seems like half of our entrants want to go drive sideways near trees at 100mph...
Is there a schedule for 2011 yet? Tentative dates are fine if that's all there is, I just need something to work against where I'll hopefully not have many conflicts.
Thanks!
Mark

Re: 2011 schedule?
We'll be setting the official schedule at the November 13 PHA meeting. Right now, the dates that seem not quite certain are Rose Valley and Polish Mountain. We don't know if Rose Valley will happen, and the guys down at Flintstone might want a date change. The rest of the tentative schedule looks like a good bet.

Re: 2011 schedule?
Polish will stick with the August date. There was some discussion at the meeting about Polish taking the July weekend, but the guys down in Flintstone have decided to stay with the original August date.
I'll let Matt explain the Rose Valley situation.

Re: 2011 schedule?
It'll be exciting to run Polish Mtn again. It just gets faster and faster.
Don't get your hopes up for Rose Valley. If you've never run it, you can watch videos and dream. It's a shame to lose it.
Hunter had a hill idea. We should look at that with the possibility of adding a Pittsburgh location(or 2) to the schedule. In addition to that, what's the possibility of running Giants twice a year? I'm all for scrapping the fall Jefferson for another hill. Considering we run Weatherly and Reading twice, it would be cool to run Giants twice.
Spring Jefferson is great for test and tune. Perfect place for that. But it isn't a hill.

Re: 2011 schedule?
News on what? Rose Valley is out. Don't count on that one for a long time, if ever. However, the rest of the schedule is good to go. Might be the only change is the date swap of Polish to the Rose Valley date..... Stay tuned. The Feb meeting is coming. If you are so inclined, come out, have lunch, meet some of the crazies and hear for yourself, 1st hand about the schedule as set in stone that day.yallgotboost wrote:Any news?

Re: 2011 schedule?
Happy Holidays from the Polish Mountain Gang
Just FYI before too much more is discussed on the schedule, both National Road Autosport and the Flinststone VFD are very happy with the August 6-7 date for Polish Mountain event in 2011. We briefly considered the late July date several months ago but are making our plans around August 6-7. Hope to see you all there!

Is there a firm 2011 schedule? Can someone post it or a link to it here?

Re: 2011 schedule?
Don,
I think they will finalize it at the Feb. Meeting. I never can make this meeting because we have our Builders Show at the York Fairgrounds. Usually after the meeting they post the minutes on this site. Stay Tuned!

Re: 2011 schedule?
Don,
You can count on "new" Pagoda June 25-26 and Duryea August 20-21. We'll make it formal at the next meeting, but I'm not aware of any changes to the already posted tentative schedule, except for maybe deleting Rose Valley

What's missing from that notice is that they want us out of the room by 3pm so that they can set it up for another function scheduled for 4pm.

Re: 2011 schedule?
Can we get the Schedule listed on the opening page bar. It also needs to be sent to NEDIV to update the division schedule.
