PHA IN AUTOMOBILE QUARTERLY

Post by Tom Styczynski »

I just finished A LONELY DEATH, the latest Charles Todd mystery set in post WW1 England (Note - If you read various British mystery authors it is a wonder that any people are remaining, especially among the Betters). I needed an automotive book to clear my brain when Volume 50 Number 3 issue of Automobile Quarterly arrived.

The last article in this issue is entitled CLIMBING HILLS FOR TIME, authored by Larry Crane. Larry crammed 100+ years of international hillclimb history into 16 pages. PHA did earn a paragraph featuring Giants Despair but did not have a single photo. There are several Mount Equinox pictures.

The article must have been sitting on the editors desk (read computer hard drive) for some time because the 2010 PHA and New England Hillclimb Association schedules were listed on the last page.

Hi Tom,

Never even heard of Automobile Quarterly. Or heard about it and forgot. Have to check that out.
