Kill switch location
Hi everyone I had a question about kill switch location. I wanted to know what everyone thought was the best location for the for kill swtich. GCR has a few options just wanted to know what you all thought. Thanks!!
Re: Kill switch location
Put a tab on the cage where it can be reached through the open right window. The window is required to be open anyway and you will be able to reach when belted in. That is a major convenience when you have belted in having forgotten to turn it on.

Don't forget to put the appropriate decal in a place indicating where the switch is.

Re: Kill switch location
While we're on this subject, does anyone know how to rig a dually-switched cut off? I already have one outside the car on the windshield wiper cowling, passenger side. I'd like to keep it, then add a second one inside where I can reach it, or a worker can, should the car be positioned such that the cowl location is inaccessible.
I have seen photos of this on some Porsches, but there was no 'how-to" offered. (just a very pricey "kit")
I believe there needs to be a double throw, continuous duty solenoid involved.

I have a $7 punch button on my dash that has everything except the starter going through it. If my throttle sticks, etc., I can punch it without taking my hands from the wheel, killing the ignition, fuel pump, fan and Accusump. There also is a conventional 4 pole emergency switch outside the car that I or workers can also trigger once the car has stopped.
