brake rotors
As I read the GCR, you can only use stock brake rotors in Showroom Stock classes. Is this the deal? I'm having trouble finding OEM replacements for the Mini- every supplier has all kinds of yummy upgrades. Slotted, drilled, Brembo etc. Looks like pads are free - any thoughts there? Sue

Re: brake rotors
Rotors must be OEM or equivalent. Nothing else is allowed.
Re: brake rotors
Stock replacement brake rotors may be obtained from sources
other than the manufacturer provided they are the exact equivalent
of the stock rotors.
and i quote. As I read it, as long a you have ordered stock replacement rotors from NAPA, Advance or RockAuto.com, and they look like what came off, you can use them.

Drats! The Brembos are so-o-o cute! Such beautiful weather - why aren't we racing somewhere?

Re: brake rotors
Not to hijack your thread or anything, Sue....but for those with relatively fast mustangs, do not use Hawk Blue pads and PowerSlot rotors unless you want to replace the rotors after each event. See here for what happens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH7S03dSQu8 16 runs at Fall Weatherly and the rotors went from new to trash. I can only imagine what would happen at Jefferson or Duryea.
RIP Joe, my friend.

Re: brake rotors
Yup thats about normal i think i am on my four or fifth set of rotors to my blues, but boy do they work. Sue in IT we have to use stock rotors, so i just use 22 dollar NApa replacements. Those damn blues work so well, the first time i had to replace rotors, i was bedding them in driving up and down the driveway and as soon as they heated up i nearly broke my nose on the steering wheel. I guess i should have had my harness on.
