Hillclimb cars

Post by jerdeitzel »

Boy, we should all be glad we don't have to race against these cars. This was posted by s friend on racepa.

To all you hillclimbers.  All the cool cars are open wheel and powered by a helicopter gas turbine to keep the turbo spooled with 4WD.  Oh yea the 2nd car featured would make a drag car blush (listen to the 0-60 & quatermile trap speed).

Very cool Jeremy!

I'm glad they don't race on real hillclimbs. The roll bar on the 1st car is down right scary. Something that fast should have a full cage around the driver.
RIP Joe, my friend.

Must go faster!!!!

Dig that crazy fat-fendered Puma - looks like an entire carbon fiber body. Crazy Brits!

The course looks lots more open than ours with more runoff room. (OK so they are still more hardcore than us, just trying to make us all feel a little better about it.)
