Vernon Jones / Revis 500 FIII 1959

I'm trying to find information about Vernon Jones (it may be R Vernon Jones?)

In 1959 he entered the Revis 500cc Formula 3 car (this might have been on the hill climb or races at Berwick - the note I have got is over 20 years old and a tad confusing).

not a lot to go on but has anyone come across this chap? or has any pictures of the Revis when it was racing in the USA?

The Revis was one of the most successful one off 500cc FIII cars built in the UK, taking on beating the Coopers in 1952, the car was eventually sold on the Pierrre Moin in the USA, the only other USA info I have is Vernon Jones. Eventually I tracked the very sorry remains of the car down in Canada and it is on its way back to the UK..
