Gas tank clean/coat
Is there any one in the Reading area that cleans and reseals gas tanks? The car we brought back from Fla. has some nasty brown gunk in it.
Thanks,
Geo.

Re: Gas tank clean/coat
George,
Try Jim Ozwald. Call him during business hours at Eagle Radiator. I think he use to clean them.
If you want to seal it, go to Eastwood (they have a store in Pottstown). They have a sealing kit and also instructions on what to purchase if you want to clean and prep the tank yourself. Follow the instructions exactly. Do not skip a step! If anyone tells you the coating came off, it was probably because they took a short cut.
