They do it for NASCAR...why not PHA?

Talk about anything in this section, just keep it clean. :-)

They do it for NASCAR...why not PHA?

Fantasy Hill Climb circuit....
Ok...this is how it works:

Using the 2004 final points, each racer/car (those that competed in
2004) will have a price.

Using GT-2 from 2004;

Bill Lessig ended up with 48 points...his value would be $4,800
Merlin Miller ended up with 20 points...his value would be $2,000
Robert Kraus ended up with 10 points...his value would be $1,000
Jack Danko ended up with 9 points...his value would be $900
(Jack ran in other classes, but you would be buying him for the Porsche
in this class)
Each player in the fantasy series would have $20,000 (or another amount)
to buy as many racers/cars as they could with that money.

You could only pick one car from each class, and you could not pick your
own car.

Say I bought

Bob Oswald Sr. in GT-4 for $8,000
Loyd Geib in Vintage 1 for $7,800
Paul Levengood in Legends for $4,000
that would be my team for the season...

FTD's would count for 5 pts
1st place in class would count for 4pts
2nd place in class would count for 3 pts
3rd place in class would count for 2pts
4th place in class would count for 1 pt

4 pt bonus if someone breaks a record in a class at an event

Person with the most points on their fantasy team at end of
season...wins.

People could pay $10 or free this year... proceeds go to PHA. I'd gladly donate prizes from Hershey. It could make for some fun and even some extra fellowship between drivers....????

Well...? I'd be willing to run it...and it would be just for fun.
