Hi all,

On New Years eve Barry fell forward out of his chair while being taken down some steps. As I heard the story he is doing pretty good but is in much pain. The doctors at Wilkes-Barre found that he had broken his neck. The fracture they found may have been from his accident the other year. He was taken to Hershey Medical Center for futher tests and they are now waiting for xrays from Philly Hospital to see if in deed it was an old break. If it is new they are going to be operating on it. Keep him in your thoughts and if you can write him or stop in he would be very happy to see you. I also have his number to call him.

:!: :!: (Info below now) :!: :!:

Give him a buzz :!:

HI all,

I just heard that he will be operated on Friday. I would think he will be in there awhile after this so go ahead and send and cards ect. It is hard sometimes to get a hold of him by calling but keep tring.

I will keep you all posted as soon as I hear anything new.

Hi all,

Well they ended up changing the operation to Monday at 2pm. The operation went very well and he was allready calling at 7pm right after getting out of recovery. To everyones suprised he called yesterday morning saying he may be released that day. He called later in the afternoon say hey someone come get me!!! Jack,Darryl, and I then went down last night to get him. He has much less pain now then before. It seems that there was a facture in his neck from his earlier accident that wasn't addressed. He is doing great but now needs to work on getting back to being as strong as he was before. Laying in bed for 2 weeks has degraded his strength alot.

If anyone wants to call or write ect. below is his contacts:

Thats great news.
I sent him an email, but have not heard back yet.
I am sure he has more on his plate than answering emails from track buddies.

I just hope he heals up well.
Thanks for the updates.
Cheers
