When I met him he was living in Cogan Station, PA. That's quite near Rose Valley. He was with Williamsport Sports Touring Club.
They put on Hiner View HC and then Rose Valley HC. When I last spoke to him on the phone, he was living in the Harrisburg area.

Don, a search for Jack in Harrisburg turned this up:

Jack Lorah
271 West Main Street
Leola, PA 17540-1755

7176560026

but it also found this:

Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Geo.

Here's another link to the Jack Lorah in Leola. It states he raised Arabian horses and was a barber. Since I don't know Jack, that may help determine if this was the right individual. There's also a photo of him in the obit.

Jacks wife's name was Betty. He had two step sons with the last name of Bower. I think Ron was the name of one of them. He and I were Good friends in the early 60s.we shared a 1957 Saab in hillclimbs Lots of fun memories.

The gentleman whose obituary is referenced above is not our old SAAB driver. I don't think he looks right but most of all he is younger than me. This our old hillclimber certainly was not. Jack had run a business called Lorah Auto Body. Hence the legend "L.A.B. tuned" on the gray SAAB 93F.

I searched for Elizabeth Lorah, found one that lived in Williamsport and New Oxford, searched on that phone number and came up with Jack F Lorah.

If this is him, he appears to passed away in 2011.
