I have some bad news. I meant to post something a few days ago, but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it. Brandon Lazar passed away last Sunday (Feb 14). Brandon co-drove his red 86 Mustang with his fiance, Courtney Coxe, and has been hillclimbing with PHA since 2016 (although he started out in a black 87 SM mustang).

I didn't have the opportunity to hang out with Brandon in person very much at PHA events, but we did have quite a few lively conversations via facebook messenger on classing, car prep, and my dismal racing lines! We also talked about how much better Courtney was getting at every event, which is a hard thing to do when it is someone else's car. I can't believe he's gone.
